Description
SkimIt.ai is an AI-powered tool that generates summaries of articles and emails them to users. To use the tool, users simply send the article link via email to go@SkimIt.ai. Within approximately 10 minutes, the user will receive an email with an AI-generated summary of the article. The tool is designed for users who come across interesting articles but don"t have time to read them fully. Users can also cc their friends on the email to share articles and summaries with them. SkimIt.ai uses OpenAI"s GPT technology for its AI processing. However, it is important to note that the generated content may not always be accurate, as it is meant for entertainment purposes only. The tool retains the email address, any cc"d email addresses, and the first URL sent in the email but does not store any other email contents. SkimIt.ai was built by Karthik and Alex as a fun project to practice AI text processing, email handling, and web scraping.
