Db Pilot

DB Pilot is a database graphical user interface (GUI) enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI). It integrates with ChatGPT, an AI assistant powered by GPT-3.5, allowing users to chat with their personal AI assistant within the database GUI client. With DB Pilot AI, users can write SQL queries by simply describing the desired outcome in English, and the AI assistant will generate the SQL code, including determining which tables to use, how to join them, and which columns to select. The tool also enables easy conversion between SQL and various code formats for ORM libraries, provides explanations for complex SQL queries, and supports joining data from different file formats. It includes an integrated DuckDB instance, allowing users to run SQL queries on local and remote files, store query results for later reference, and connect data from databases with other data sources. The tool features a spreadsheet-like editor for CRUD operations, filters to query specific rows without writing SQL, and the ability to save query results in CSV, JSON, or Parquet format. The roadmap includes upcoming features like smart code completion, additional database support (MySQL and SQLite), and query/chat history. DB Pilot offers a pricing model that includes a one-time purchase for the GUI, lifetime access to the AI assistant and app updates with the option to renew access annually. The AI assistant does not have access to actual data stored in the database, only information about tables and columns for assistance purposes.
