Dreamfusion

DreamFusion is an AI tool that allows you to generate 3D objects and scenes based on text captions. It leverages a pretrained text-to-image model and a technique called Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) to optimize a 3D scene. With DreamFusion, you can create relightable 3D objects with high-fidelity appearance, depth, and normals. The tool uses a Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) as the 3D model and offers the ability to view the generated objects from different angles, relight them with arbitrary illumination, and composite them into any 3D environment. DreamFusion does not require any labeled 3D datasets or modifications to the image model, demonstrating the effectiveness of pretrained image models as priors. Additionally, the generated NeRF models can be exported to meshes for integration into 3D renderers and modeling software. DreamFusion has a wide range of potential applications in areas such as computer graphics, virtual reality, and 3D content creation.
